Day 2 of the Landis trial was dominated by translator problems. This may actually end up helping Landis because much of the basis of his defense is that the USADA has botched and totally mishandled the process by which Landis was tested and the subsequent positive test for doping. The USADA was responsible for providing the interpreter for these hearings and by having a translator that was not able to do an adequate job may add to Landis' case that the USADA is riddled with incompetence.
