16 Degrees Is Warm!

Here in the barren wasteland we were hit by a Christmas blizzard that dumped close to 20 inches of snow and almost immediately after it stopped snowing it got cold ... temperatures were at or below zero for much of the week prior but the cold has snapped... it is currently 16 degrees above zero and because it is January, that is like summertime for us! In October and November if we hear of a high temperature of 16 we shudder from the thought of that cold temperature but in January and February, now hardened and use to sub-zero temps, 16 degrees means a light jacket might be all one needs to keep warm on such a mild day....
