Happy Mardi Gras to everyone. The only time people care about religion anymore is when a big party is involved.

Two big headline sporting events happened over the weekend, both of which I paid little or no attention too... The Daytona 500 and the NBA All-Star Game. This year's Daytona 500 continued to display why it lost me as a fan sometime ago...lots of wrecks because everyone is grouped together and then a 1 or 2 lap 'shootout' for the win...with the winner the guy who was lucky enough to not wreck all day. The NBA All-Star game is like most other all-star games that I don't watch...no defense, lots of show-boating and a good time for the players but really boring for the viewers.
