If it wasn't real when I mentioned it earlier, it is now public... the Vikes imposed some artificial deadline to Brett Favre stating that they want to know this week if he is going to play for them or not... How silly the Vikes are... Brett Favre will grace the Metrodome with his presence when he is ready to and you will welcome him with open arms and great fanfare.
UPDATED 6/9/09:
Reports are that Favre's family and 'entourage' has booked a block of hotel rooms in Green Bay the weekend the Vikes play the Packers (Nov. 1). That should all but squash any doubts about Favre's intentions about 'retiring'.
