Bonds Boycotting The HOF?

Could Barry Bonds actually do something I would love to see happen? That is, he says he would boycott the MLB Hall Of Fame if they displayed his record setting homerun ball branded with an asterisk. If I was the Hall Of Fame I would begin construction of an entire addition that would simply display the asterisk-branded ball, complete with asterisk laden wallpaper, carpet and, if possible, lighting. That would hopefully insure that Bonds will never be inducted into the hall of fame.
