Chargers Praised

If you turned on any national sports program, it was likely that the Chargers might be #1 on many analysts 'power rankings'. ESPN has the Chargers at #1, FOX Sports, etc. Lots of hype will oftentimes ruin a team...

When the season first began I thought the final 8 game stretch would be tougher than the first half...which still may be the case...but the Chargers, coming back from double-digit defecits on the road the past two games really shows a person that the team is good. Also, the Chargers are 3-0 without Shawne Merriman and after this week's game against Oakland will return and will no doubtedly make the Charger defense better.

The 3 remaining divisional games are all in San Diego and things look good for the Chargers in securing a playoff spot with a strong finsih. I think they should handle Oakland this weekend and if KC can sneak out a win tonight against the Broncos, the Chargers would have 2 games on both those teams...that would be sweet!
