Castillo Signs, Jackson Talks Hit Snag

It is great to hear the the Chargers got one of their top picks, Luis Castillo, signed and into camp on time. But as I wrote just yesterday, I thought Vincent Jackson would also sign fairly soon and hopefully without any issues. Well word is that talks with Jackson are, according to Charger GM A.J. Smith, "broken down" or according to Neil Schwatz, Jackson's agent, "I never characterize talks as breaking down," Schwartz said. "I never look at it that way. . . . I want to get a deal done. I truly believe they want to get a deal done."

Regardless, I would like to see Jackson in camp sooner than later and hopefully both sides haven't taken any 'hard lines' that will prevent a long hold out...
