It Shall Be Branded

In what seems like some sort of justice at this time, the ball that was hit for Bonds' record-breaking homerun number 756, was purchased for $750,000. The owner, Marc Ecko, then started a web site and had fans vote for the fate of the baseball and now the verdict is in...

The ball was voted to be branded with an asterisk and then given to the baseball hall of fame.

I did vote and I voted for the winning outcome, the asterisk placed on the ball. To have it launched into out space (banish it from the planet) would mean that future generations of baseball fans wouldn't know the truth about Bonds and steroids. A permanent asterisk branded on the ball will not leave any doubt for future generations to know what most fans of baseball think about Bonds' record.
